Chris Hampton

Operations Manager, IRATA L3

Chris has been involved in the vertical world in one way or another for over 20 years.  Starting as a recreational rock climber, he’s naturally transitioned in to industrial rope access.  A passionate gear nut, and technical rescue technician, along side managing the retail side of Spidertech, Spidertech Supplies, he happily get on ropes to assist as needed.

He is an International Technical Rescue Association Level 3 Instructor.

Outside of the Spidertech he’s a volunteer member of the Climbers Club of Tasmania Vertical Rescue Team and an event technician, recently specialising in video, LED/Projection and photography.
